Whether you’re a seasoned veteran to road cycling or you just bought your first bike and can’t wait to take it for a long (ahem…very long) ride, you’re in the right place!
But first, We got some ‘splainin to do!
This event, most popularly known as the Rockwell Relay, and currently (but also formerly) known as the Vision Relay, is getting a makeover!
Now, it’s not completely “out with the old and in with the new”… the course will virtually remain the same, with only slight modifications to the route. But we’ve made some significant changes to the event format in hopes to make it more appealing to wider audiences while still maintaining the essence of what has made this event so great in the past. The most significant change is in the ownership of the event. We’d like to thank Tyler Servoss for putting on a fantastic event these past several years. His dedication to the sport of cycling and his passion for excellence are inspiring.
As Tyler has now passed the baton, we feel that it’s important to introduce you to the new management:
Race Director: Cameron Scott
Co-Director: Clay Christensen
Operations Manager: Natasha Scott
Together, our team will work tirelessly to continue building one of the best long-distance relay races in Utah! We ask for your patience during this, our “transition year”. We’ve been told that if you build it, they will come… and we just wanna say: Let’s get to work!
While we’ve got most of the details figured out, there are still a number of things we’re tweaking. Until we’ve finalized the name of the event, we’ll refer to it as the Moab To St. George Relay.
One more note: Thank you for your patience while we are rebuilding and performing maintenance on the website. We apologize for outdated information, broken links, or general lack of functionality. We assure you–we’re working on it!
